Limiting Beliefs

If there was ever one main response from those around us that comes with competing in bodybuilding or figure competitions, or even just getting ourselves into fantastic shape  is the "Oh i could never do that". I have to admit it is a pet hate..
But being aware of these negative notions is crucial for continuing to move forward and achieve what you may want in life. Think about it for a moment or so... It happens constantly. I would never be able to lift that much, marathon.. are you kidding me i could never run 42km, earn 70k a year...i wish! Go a week without having a drink.. no chance.

Limiting Beliefs!!

It is quite easy even for the best of us to fall into the practice of setting limits on what we can and cannot achieve. Especially in todays society where the lazy are rewarded and propped up by what ever means possible, and the hard workers that remain get penalised at every opportunity. But kick the limits on what you want to achieve! Wether it be training goals, life goals, work goals. If you want to be the most conditioned anyone has ever seen then go for it, if your working at the bottom of a company and dream of being the boss earning 100k a year then go for it! Removing limits puts you on the track to achieving your ultimate goals. Reminding yourself of these sets the path and you will start to do the things it takes to reach these possibilities. You will become more aware of what you need to do to accomplish them.

Hard work and personal sacrifice is sure to follow you on your path to achievement. Times of doubt and uncertainty will creep in...but by reminding yourself of the reward..of that goal... will push you through and make the achievement so much more satisfying, and all the sacrifice and hard work will seem obsolete!

Well i hope that rant made some sense.. but till next time aim high, think big, go for the seemingly unattainable and have some fun doing so!

Let's begin

Well this Blog has been a long time coming. I initially held off creating one as I was just going to run one on my website however a lot of time has passed and the website still got a long way to go. So here we are :) Time to join the ranks and begin blogging!

So about me.. I am a life time drug free athlete who fell in love with body building and fitness in general at a young age. I grew up playing rugby league which i was quite good at and reached high level before I basically crushed and destroyed half of my kidney. The injury was a blessing in disguise..all those years playing I loved training and was always the 'fit guy' of the team but this injury lead me to begin the path of training for ME. Roughly at the same time I began working at a gym which then just further entrenched my love for training. It was also here that i ended up meeting my special girl friend Hannah!

So to cut a long story short and fast forward to now.. I have reached some goals i never thought i would, met some amazing people and made some great friends, and have learnt a lot along the way.

So the purpose of this blog?? Hopefully to meet more people, unload thoughts, impart any knowledge i can... and share some kick ass adventures along the way!
